Finally, some appreciation

you guys are funny as hell, I couldn't stop laughing.

the digs on Cycling News and its reviews of products had me howling.  just as bad are the reviews at the UK sister site, Bike Radar.  They take a bike's spec sheet, turn it into narrative form, and call it a review.  what the F*%K?

my favorite thing lately is the "Pro Reviews" on MTBR, done by completely talentless douchenozzles.  well there are some exceptions, to a limited extent.  Lee Lau and his wife Sharon Bader are reasonably talented riders with an eye/ear for useful detail, but they tend to dumb down the reviews for the doofus dickwad MTBR audience.  but hey, Robb Sutton... there's a loser hack if ever there was one.  a massive self-promoter who is about  as skilled as I was when I first got onto a bicycle, Sutton "reviews" products that he cons Mfrs [ed. Motherfuckers or Manufacturers? Either works. We prefer the former] into giving him for testing.

funny shit -- when I saw Sutton was reviewing XXX company’s prototypes, I sent a scathing email to XXX asking why a no-talent fuck could "test" their XXX, when his reviews offered nothing useful at all to a rider with some experience and discerning knowledge.  I got back a reply asking why I was such a negative person.  I sorted it out with the dude what I was trying to convey, and now-- I'm a "test" rider.  but I don't blog about it as if I'm the greatest talent available.

Robb Sutton's bullshit ---> www.mtbtrailreview.com/blog/ style="mso-spacerun: yes">   ...probably too low-level to warrant your professional-quality hatin' but it's worth a chuckle to read his bs

keep up the good work!
